Don't forget the Entry Way

Most home sellers want to sell their home for as much as possible.  Most plan to spend some time to get it ready to put on the  market.  A clean well staged home will increase your chances for a successful sale at price you are happy with.

When readying your home for the market, Don't forget the Entry Way.  Curb appeal is a very important aspect to a successful sale.  If your home looks great inside, but you neglect the outside, you may miss the buyer.  Curb appeal makes a buyer excited to get inside.  Poor curb appeal, the buyer may drive up with their agent and decide to keep going without geting out of the car to see how nice the inside of your home is.  This really happens!

Many times when looking at homes, a buyer will need to wait while their agnet opens the lock box.  This gives them extra time to look around and notice any items that have been neglected.  Keep the front proch swept and free of debri.  If there are cob webs, dust or anything that can detract, a quick spray with a hose or brush off with a broom will give your home a fresh look.

Thinking of buying or selling, you can search the MLS like an agent on my web site DenverAreaHomes.com
