The Palm Beach Zoo is on board with your Halloween festivities and want to add a wild side to your normal schedule. Even better, if certain events have been a bit too intense for your family, this event is fun for the whole family and all ages and is titled a "Not-So-Scary Adventure."
This year, Boot at the Zoo is taking place from October 24th - October 26th from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Visitors can enjoy trick-or-treating, giveaways, a Hay Stack hunt for $1, amazing animal encounters, not-so-scary wildlife presentations, and much more -- guests can even decorate a pumpkin in the Pumpkin Patch for a small $1 fee! An added bonus - the proceeds from this pumpkin decorating an the Hay Stack Hunt goes torwards the care and feeding of Palm Beach's beloved zoo animals. There is a kids costume parade and contest held in Fountain Plaza during the day 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM on Friday and Saturday (10/24, 10/25, 10/26).
If you're looking for a howlin' good night after sunset, go to Boo at the Zoo - At Night! The costume parade takes place at 6:45 PM, and a goodie bag is awarded for costume categories: cutest, scariest, most zoo-riffic, and "best overall" costume. All of the above listed activities are available for guests at night, too, from 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM starting October 24th!
