National Chocolate Day October 28- Celebrate

Honestly I did not either so it was big surprise to see the colored pods. Apparently they do not taste good when you open the pod but they do smell like cocoa. Chocolate is my favorite flavor so I was in Heaven.

When I was standing there watching the demonstration, these little geckos started crawling in and out of the barrels beside me and I think I was more excited to see the geckos than the chocolate. The field manager was then showing me birds and we took off to take some pictures before the bus arrived to take us to the next stop. It was a beautiful plantation.

Did you know chocolate is good for you and they say that it helps retore your memory. I really like milk chocolate better than dark and they gave us samples at this plantation in Kona. Loved the little green geckos! Thanks for the feature.

I bought some for Halloween and I sampled them too. I love peanut butter and I heard on TV one night that Snicker's is the most popular candy bar in the world. I was surprised as I thought Hershey's chocolate would be the favorite.
