Trumbull CT home sales for October 2014 showed a 23% decrease in sales from the same period last year, and listing and selling averages went down 11% and 10% respectively.   The median home price declined 4%.

Days on the market went DOWN 24%.  The market absorption rate came in at 5.44 months, still hanging on to a seller's market statistically  for the month.  That means at the current pace, it would take 5.44  months to sell off the inventory of 174 homes.

The absorption TREND, which shows the number of months it would take to sell the entire inventory at the same pace, came in at 4.83 months for the last three months.
