Fishhawk Lake Wildlife-Lone Heron on a Dock-Speechless Sunday
I couldn't decide which one, so I included both. One is in black and white.
He looked so lonely.
I never see Great Blue Herons in pairs. Maybe that's why I think he looks lonely. Or pensive.
My favorite bird.
Ever since the dock was moved by the clubhouse to sit jutting out into the water, as opposed to parallel to the shoreline, more wildlife has enjoyed standing there, looking out across the water.
Our home sits across the lake and I can step out and see these opportunities to photograph or simply take it in.
