Homes for Sale in Loudoun County with a Fireplace. Single Family Detached Properties.
A fireplace is not as important a feature in homes for sale as in times past. However, homes with a fireplace are far more likely to sell faster and for a better price than homes without this feature.
Most fireplaces in home constructed in the 1990s or later are in the Family Room. Older homes may have the fireplace in the Living Room or both. Where ever a fireplace is located, it's likely to be the focal point of that room.
Fireplaces are not necessarily the practical features today that are used for heat. They are often decorative with attractive mantles and fireplaces constructed of brick or stone.
Generally, this matter begins at the time of construction. Far more builders are offering the fireplace as a standard feature than in the past. Further, the acceptance of the pre-fab fireplace insert made fireplaces far less expensive than previously. The masonry fireplace remains the style of choice for new homes in the higher price ranges.

Fireplace. In most homes, the fireplace will be a secondary source of heat. Homes with two story rooms lose a lot of fireplace heat due to high ceilings.
The beauty of the fireplace with the decorative exterior and hearth is possible with a masonry or pre-fab.
