A Goal Setting Fatal Mistake, and how to Prevent it.
Practitioners of “The Secret”, along with plenty of other smart people know how important it is to keep our focus on the positive.
Keeping our focus on the positive rather than the negative, on what we do have rather than what we do not have is essential.
This is not just essential for some power of the universe, but it is essential for how we speak to our subconscious.
When our subconscious believes that we are winning, we do and when it believes that we are losing well that is true too.
Sometimes when we are setting our goals, we tend to let our focus touch on what we do not have while we look at what we want to do and have in the future.
Of course this does have the potential to sabotage our subconscious and screw up our focus on the universe.
Here is where those gratitude lists and journals that we talked about so many times last month come in.
Go review these lists and journals, direct your focus back to what a great deal you have already, the great people in your life, the great things you have, and the great things that you have accomplished.
And while you are at it take a look at the “Annual Review” exercise that we worked on this last week as well.
With this in mind, keep up the great job of goal writing that you all have been doing this month, keep it positive and I will too.
And look for a few more Goal Setting Reflections from me as we progress through December.
