Reaching for the Stars
“I’d rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a
could be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I’d
rather be a has-been than a might- have-been,
by far; for a might have-been, has never
been, but a has was once an are.”
Milton Berle 1908 - 2002, American Comedian and Actor
As I see it. . . . . . . .
Reaching for the stars
I rather be me . . . . with a vision and a dream for my future.
I rather be a person that has tried . . . . and not yet succeeded then a person that did not try.
I rather be a person that has been knocked down . . . . as a result of my efforts to succeed then a person that did not take the risk to succeed. I can always get up . . . . and try again.
I would rather stretch and reach for the stars . . . . and come up with just hand full of stars rather then not have stretched. because I can always stretch for another hand full of stars.
I would rather live my life . . . . and to continue to reach . . . . and try, then to listen to other people tell me what I can’t do.
Live your life stretching for your goals . . . . and reaching for the stars both are there for you if you’re willing to continue reach and try.
I rather be me . . . . with a vision and a dream for my future . . . . and continually be reaching for the stars until I reach them.
