Why Doesn’t Bonita Springs Have a High School?

This is an appeal to everyone in Bonita Springs but especially to my own grown children, their friends and anyone else who plans on raising a family in the city Bonita Springs, Florida. They don’t realize it but they are at a very important crossroads of what could make or break life in the city of Bonita springs for young families. The future growth of our local economy and the retention of young families actually depends upon it. Continue: Why Doesn’t Bonita Springs Have a High School?

A local high school makes sense if the voters are willing to fund it and it is needed based on population, distance to nearby althernative schools, etc.

Chris -  I guess you need to show the benefits of this.  Everyone is sensitive to overbuilding and taxes.  I agree that having a good local school system is need for young families.

I am constantly reminding my buyers the importance of good schools. I sent my kids to private schools but I always voted yes for schools to keep a good education intact.

Busing your children to another school district because of lack of a high school, while not bad if the school is properly funded takes education out of your area and control Chris Griffith I feel!

Almost every community small city etc around here has a school.  I believe it (around here anyway) is based on a population system.  Some communities will never reach that pinnacle not at least in my lifetime. Don't know aobut FL.

Exciting news that Bonita may finally get a high school. Hope everyone can settle their differences of opinion on location and get a deal done.
