I have successfully navigated my way through many difficult situations in life, both personal and professional. That tends to help me keep a level head when I'm dealing with situations where a listing is more than meets the eye. I have helped sellers who have had varies situations that complicated their sale too.
There are situations where there is
- a recent death
- a recent divorce
- a pending divorce
- one owner wants to sell and the other doesn't
- estates with multiple siblings
- looming foreclosures
- short sales
- unemployment
- sickness
I could go on and on with the list. It makes my job more of a challenge. Recently I was faced with one of these more challenging listings. I am sure many agents and brokers would give the advice to RUN, not walk away. But perhaps because I have walked a few miles in their shoes I choose to stay and help them to come out on the other side as unharmed as possible.
To date on this listing I have had to deal with angry words and tears. I am sure there will be more to come in the days and weeks ahead. It's one of those stories that will make the "Memoirs of the Real Estate Broker".
So if you find yourself in a bad situation, but still needing to sell your Lake Sinclair area home, give me a call. I promise not to run, but to stay and help. Like I said... I've likely walked a few miles in your shoes. And the calm level head and experience I have can help you make it through a difficult sale.
