When thinking about relocating to DFW, if you're a Golf Lover, you may want to consider Flower Mound. Flower Mound is located within a short distance from DFW Airport and it's an easy commute to either Dallas or Fort Worth.

There are two Golf Courses in the City of Flower Mound. One is Bridlewood Golf Club. In 2014 Bridlewood Golf Club was voted "twelfth best upscale Golf Facility in North America by Golf Digest."

As of 1/22/2015 there are 15 homes for sale in the Bridlewood community, one under contract, 3 pending and 18 sold within the last six months.

Wellington is the next subdivision over from Bridlewood. If you choose to live in Wellington, amenities offers Disc Golf (9-hole).

TOUR 18

For those who like a challenge, Tour 18 is just up the road from Bridlewood. The 7,033 yard Golf Course is exquisite. Mansion homes can be found in this gated community with views of Lake Grapevine. This Golf Course was designed exclusively for Tour 18 in Flower Mound replicating 18 of the most challenging holes in the world. As of 1/22/2015 there are 15 active listings in Tour 18; one pending and two sold within the last six months.

Living in Bridlewood or Tour 18 in Flower Mound is a luxury many choose to enjoy year round.

Patricia I would imagine that golf courses would be very popular out there since you guys have warm weather most of the year which allows golf courses to stay open longer. This would be an attractive feature to golfer who are looking to purchase a home on a golf course.
