Easter Egg Hunts in and around Columbus Ohio, Westerville, Clintonville, Grove City, Etc..
There are plenty of Easter egg hunts going on all over and around Columbus and surrounding communities and towns. Here are some of our favorites for Easter 2015.
Westerville – At the Spring Road Church of Christ located at 74 South Springs Rd. children of all ages can enjoy an Easter egg hunt, the Easter Bunny with photographs, crafts, music and storytelling. The event will be held indoors in case of bad weather and this is free admission. The event is Saturday, April 4 starting at 3:00 PM.
City of Westerville – The city of Westerville is also putting on a very unique Easter egg hunt this year located at the Westerville community Center, 350 North Cleveland Ave. This will take place in a swimming pool called an underwater egg hunt. Some of the eggs will float and some will think. There are different age groups available to go after the eggs at different times. All of the eggs will be traded for toys and candy. The event starts at 6:00 PM and runs until 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 2. There will also be a carnival and games during the egg hunt. But remember this is April 2, not on Saturday.
Westerville also has a unique event on Friday, April 3 at 8:00 PM for adults: the flashlight glow-in-the-dark adult Easter egg hunt. Join adults for a fun evening a flashlight egg hunts claiming candy and prizes with no kids allowed. This is for adults ages 18 and over at the heritage Park Atrium Shelter, 60 North Cleveland Ave. and it is $5 per person.
Columbus Zoo – get ready for Eggs, Paws and Claws at the Columbus Zoo Saturday, April 4 through Sunday, April 5. Enjoy the Aqua bunny swimming in the Discovery Reef Tank, take photos with the bunny in the activity pavilion and there'll be a lot of unique kid friendly events happening around the zoo this weekend. This is located in Powell at 4850 Powell Rd. The event started 9:00 AM and run until 5:00 PM for all ages. The cost is free with admission or membership to the zoo and be sure to bring eight dollars for parking.
Northwest United Methodist Church – Located at 5200 Riverside Dr. in Columbus, this church will be hosting an Easter egg hunt on Saturday. The event will start at 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM and includes a continental breakfast, crafts, games and of course the Easter Bunny.
Canal Winchester – This Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Stradley Park next to the municipal building at 36 South High St. This is a free Easter egg hunt for children 0 to 12 years old.
Clintonville – The Northern Kiwanis Club of Columbus will be hosting their annual Easter egg hunt at Whetstone Park on Saturday starting at 10:00 AM. And the University Kiwanis Easter egg hunt will be hosted at the Tuttle Community Center at 240 West Oakland Ave. in Columbus starting at 10:00 AM on Saturday.
Grove City – The Amazing Grace Christian church located at 2255 Quail Creek Blvd. in Grove City will feature an Easter egg hunt at 11 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday for children sixth grade or younger. Victorious Living Christian Center located at 2735 Columba St. will also host their Easter Eggstravaganza from 630 until 8:30 PM on Saturday with prizes for children and candy for everyone.
Hilliard - On Saturday at 2:00 PM on the grounds of Guide Church at 4751 Northwest Pkwy. join us for their fourth annual Easter EGG-splosion! There will be food, shaved ice and pictures with the Easter Bunny.
Upper Arlington – on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Thompson Park at 4250 Mountainview Rd. children ages nine and under are invited to hunt for Easter eggs and there is also a separate search area for children with special needs.
