5 Things To Do In Tucson This Weekend!

Erik Hite Foundation Fun Run and Walk!  It is a fantastic way to support Tucson's First Responders!  I will be here volunteering my time to help!

Tucson Clean and Beautiful Pantano River Wash Clean Up - on Saturday May 16th - sadly, people use our washes for trash dumping - come out and help volunteers clean up trash, mattresses, and other debris from 8am until 11am.

Go to Reid Park Zoo to watch what happens if you do not bear proof your campground! Reid Park Zoo is hosting a fund-raising picnic this Sunday at 5 p.m., giving guests the opportunity to help zookeepers set up a campground inside the grizzly bear exhibit (while the bears are secured in their night house). After the humans are safely out of the exhibit, participants can see how quickly the bears dismantle the work. Space is limited so call ahead for reservations!

Arizona Bacon Fest is BACK!  Definitely not for those with cholesterol issues - from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, May 16  Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium, 2500 E. Ajo Way go enjoy bacon on practically everything!  It costs $45 if you buy before you go!

Join Fox Tucson Theater for the May installment of 2nd Saturdays Downtown featuring Tucson bands Ronstadt Generations and SQWRL.  A long time friend of mine, Tony Whitaker, is the guitar player in the band SQWRL and it is sure to be a good time for all!  Visit Fox Theatre for more information!

No I wish. I just thought your dad might have been stationed there in the middle of Oahu. Gabrielle Kamahele Rhind

I have been working with a company, as a consultant, and we are close to a contract which would have me spending a couple years on the big island.

My time I have lived in Hawaii was the best 5 years of my life...
