Nelson,

Excellent tips to increase home value.  I  totally agree with #1.   The entryway is  what buyers see first.

Those are great ideas to inexpensively increase home value.  The first home I tried selling had piles like those in the third picture - it didn't matter how low the price went; no one could see past the stuff.

It reminds of the point of poor and clean. One can be poor but clean.

My favorite most overlooked idea is: Evaluate your entry way

I like that you started with the entry, as that is the first impression.  The way you addressed simplifying your home, junk and clutter always make an area seem smaller.

Revitalizing an existing space is a great idea and can help make a difference in how the potential buyers look at the home. Good original content and photos. Also, like the links to San Diego professionals for painting and other services.

Clearing last years leaves from the flower beds, getting rid of newly sprouting weeds and adding fresh mulch is an inexpensive way to add instant curb appeal.

Nelson this is a really good and basic post with some very sound economical tips for sellers.  One thing I advise is power wash the front and then just paint the trim.  It looks like the entire house is freshly painted.  We have a lot of stucco here (as I think you do) and the stucco often does not need the paint.

I'm a Home Stager and I think declutter is the first thing to do.  Then fresh paint,  and good lighting.  Good post
