Wordless Wednesday (or not) Three Men in a Boat

 

Maybe it's me, but I found this to be so humorous! These guys are obviously BIG GUYS...stuffed into this tiny watercraft and it was if they could only take turns fishing, one at a time!

"Don't look--you'll scare the fish!"

 

"Okay, Bob, you go first...we won't look.

We'll just sit right here and look at the shoreline.

Let us know when you're done.

 

Did you catch anything yet?

Ok, Jim, you'll be next.

I'll sit by the motor." 

 

It looked borrowed, it looked uncomfortable. I found it to be a moment that I just NEEDED to capture!

It makes me think of once when I went fishing with my parents and their best friend in a small john boat.  I was about 8 months pregnant and I saw a spider and slipped off the bench seat in the boat.  It was a comedy of errors getting my enormous self up off the bottom of that boat.

Actually not Gayle.  I cried so no one has ever mentioned it.  Very funny now... hadn't thought about in years until seeing those guys crammed in that little boat flooded the memory right back to me.  Even funnier is I don't really like to fish, but I went because I didn't want to stay home alone because it was so close to my delivery date.

You are the queen of capturing those "special moments". I laughed out loud with Endre Barath, Jr. comment. So true!! My dad loved to fish and if you went with him you knew "no talking!" He loved the solitude of being out on the lake early in the morning watcing the sun come up. To this day my brother loves his sunrises and sunsets..I'm sure it came from fishing with dad:).
