Carlsbad Has a New Airline, BizAirShuttle, With Flights to Los Angeles

That's right. You can now avoid the traffic on the 5 freeway and take Biz Airlines (BizAirShuttle) from Carlsbad's McClellan-Palomar Airport direct to LAX.

Carlsbad's McClellan-Palomar Airport now offers the BIz Air Shuttle to LA Whether you are just heading to LA and prefer to avoid the drive, or are flying out of LAX (as I often do - you can commonly find less expensive and more direct flights to the east coast and elsewhere than from San Diego) domestically or internationally, Biz Airlines will no doubt find a bunch of happy users.

United Airlines used to offer a shuttle to LAX from Carlsbad but recentl discontinued that service, opening up a terrific niche for Biz Air Shuttle.

I hear they will be offering flights to Las Vegas beginning July 30.

Very cool, these small trip airlines make a ton of sense. I'm sure local trips to LA or even to Vegas will be immensely popular.

How wonderful. We have a puddle jumper, to LAX on American and United connecting through LAX...However, on the way back, it is rare that I can get a return flight to SBA without a 5 hour wait at LAX... A

I think so too. And I think more and more people are taking advantage of them. Our airport is small, so security wait time is minimal

I think the small airports often are a great deal, more convenient and less crowded. With that, however, seems to be fewer flights to get you where you want to go, or perhaps a longer wait time.

Yikes, that's a long wait. You can drive roundtrip and then some, except in the worst traffic, in that time. Guess you really have to plan your time
