We looked into re-fi, but in the end even with HARP we'd loose any interest savings with fees that would be added to our principle amount, so we just pay two extra payments a year to shorten our loan term and save money.

Erika - The HARP program is a great program, and I also wrote a post trying to promote it. There are a lot of home owners who could truly benefit from this, and don't even realize it.
