41% Of Tucson Homeowners Have A Working Fireplace.

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with KGC Properties LLC, Tucson Property Management & Real Estate

Clearly, Tucson residents love heat!  Even in the summer time when it it blasting hot and humid outside - you will still find folks turning on their BBQs, getting their open pit fire's going at night to roast marshmallows or watch a gorgeous Tucson sunset.

A recent study that surveyed Tucson homeowners noted that 41 percent of us also have a working fireplace - compared to 45 percent of homeowners in the US altogether.

Do you live in "heat" and have a fireplace!?

I love the outdoor fireplaces in the southwest. I wonder how many are outdoor and how many are indoor. Lots of homes here in the mid atlantic don't have fireplaces -

Hi Gabrielle.  Yes, I have a fireplace.  I may have used it three or four times in the past 15 years!

Gabrielle Kamahele Rhind No fireplace either here in Sarasota, or in San Diego. Bet most of the fireplaces in Tucson just end up buring mesquite? Have a great day!

We do live in different locales Gabrielle Kamahele Rhind ! We are living with a stage 2 burn ban right now with no outside burning or charcoal bbq allowed. Our forests are tinder dry. We haven't had rain since April making this the driest summer and warmest in 25 years.

We have fireplaces but for the most part they're all gas now.

Here in CA, homeowners rarely use fireplaces, but almost every property has them. I have a wood burning one, but honestly, I never used it:)
