A couple weeks ago I wrote a blog article that received a lot of negative comments. I think that many people read the title and maybe the first couple of paragraphs, formed an opinion, and wrote what they thought. The post was called "Business Cards Are a Waste of Money!"
Very disappointing. If you are going to comment on a post, you should make sure you read the entire post. If at that point you do not agree, say it nicely. My dad always told me to "sandwich" any pieces of constructive criticism by putting in between two compliments, just like a sandwich.... Just a tip.
In this post if you continue reading you will see that I wrote that business cards are a waste of time at networking events. I did not say to dump your cards and get rid of all of them and never use them again.

Today, I received a very interesting email from a leader I adore in terms of his marketing mastermind. He has become an expert on Linkedin and has some amazing classes. Today in his email, his title was "The Business Card Graveyard". He is co-hosting a complimentary workshop with friend and fellow St. Louisan, Virginia Muzquiz, on how to network the right way to maximize and leverage your time spent networking. You can read more HERE.
According to Josh Turner, Virginia has a unique system for turning networking meetings into gold, and will be dishing out some seirously valuable techniques that will finally make your networking time worth it.
Please let me know if you register. Looks like a great class!
