Shanna I can not even remember the last time I was in a library.  I suspect like anything else after this amount of time I would hardly recognize.  Enjoy the rest of your day.  Mark

Shanna, in the first Republican Debate Ben Carson said his mother giving him a library card had the greatest impact on his life when growing up.  It is tax dollars very well spent to expand our county public libraries around the nation and develop active reading programs and activities for people of all ages!

Shanna Hall I love libraries -- usually I visit them in every place I spend any time at all.  Your post provides a real service to your area.

Mark- I have a ton of book on my tablet- therefore I don't visit the library as much as I should...  someday;)

Bruce- that is pretty interesting and I think I remember him saying that somewhere too!

Gary- I do enjoy them- I actually have a friend that bought an old Carnegie Library in St. Louis city for 200,000 in the worst time of the market and he made it his home...  Very interesting to visit!

Shanna, I just love those Carnegie Libraries!  My first teaching job in Wabash, Indiana had a Carnegie Library and I just loved that building.  How great that your friend rescued the building in St. Louis and the one we had in Wabash reminded me of the Jefferson Memorial.
