The Curtis Park Tenants are Present But the Seller is Not

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

I suppose it is possible that a few phone messages got caught up in the celltowers on Sunday when my husband and I were completely out of cellphone range. When you're touring a ghost town and an old hydraulic gold mine north of Nevada City from Sacramento, there is no coverage with any cellphone carrier. On top of this, when you're out of range, it can sometimes take a day or two for all of your phone messages to be delivered to your phone.

At least that's the story I'm banking on as to why the seller did not show up nor call me to say the Monday morning meeting was canceled yesterday in Curtis Park. He did not strike me as the kind of guy who would think since I live in Land Park, I can practically walk over to Curtis Park so where is the inconvenience. Still, it is very odd, especially since he is a person I have met in the past and not a complete stranger.

You can read more in my personal blog today about what happened at this link: When the Seller is a No Show For a Curtis Park Agent.

I'm not surprised that you were able to charm your way in with those tenants.  Did you ask them where they got their tattoos?

I am guessing that sooner or later, you'll still get this listing.

The seller called me yesterday to say he had left a message on Zillow. Apparently, that's where he found my number and did not realize that Zillow does not permit agents to post their own phone numbers because Zillow uses its own phone number to track calls. You'd think he would not have been able to leave a message at Zillow but he said he did. Thank goodness I left him a v/m with my correct phone number. This is a major problem with Zillow.
