Thanks for the memories. My father had one of these 1960 Cadillacs Sedan DeVille and the words of wisdom. Merry Christmas!!
Patricia,
Another lovely and thoughtful post. I love your photos, and one of our friends has a car that looks like this one, except it is a convertible and white. He restored it to perfection. A
For me, a car was only something to get me from point A to point B.....nothing more.
Patricia - that is certainly a good motivational thought for today. What is really valuable? For me it is my wonderful family. I never got some of the things I dreamed about as a kid but I am happy.
Patricia you did far more than most would have been able to with the same, and should be very proud of it.
I remember the car in the picture well, I was always amazed by it when I was a kid. It looked like a space ship to me :)
I expect Elvis, or James Dean, to pop out of that car, Patricia.
I applaud you for your decision to get reliable transportation and create a future for you and your children.
Good morning Patricia. I have not heard any of these quotes before, thank you for sharing them. I copied them and will share them as well. Great job with your post.
Good morning Patricia. I've not heard of these quotes before either. I like them and I do like the photo of the lead sled.
Good morning Patricia Feager, MBA, GRI, Cert Negotiations Expert, Military Relo Prof .
As always a lovely thoughtful post! I've never heard these quotes but they do resonate. Happy holidays!!
You had the strength to get through so much and do so much for yourself and your children. Nice photo of that clean Sedan de Ville
Patricia -- in the face of a less-than-ideal situation, you stood up and did what you had to do --- you continue to do that everyday.
I too think about peace and wish for it more than anything. But I must say, those fins are awfully attractive. Thoughtful post as usual.
