Dow Strives for Year End Gain

Buoyed by rising oil prices and a nice improvement in consumer sentiment, stock managed to advance across the board today.  With just two trading sessions remaining, the Dow is precious close to ending the year with a slight gain.  The NASDAQ will surely do so and barring big losses the S & P should as well.  Tomorrow pending home sales will guide traders.  the Dow closed up 192 points on the day.
