Money Like Manure
“Money is like manure, it’s not worth a thing unless it’s
spread around encouraging things to grow.”
Thorton Wilder 1897 - 1975, American Playwright,
Novelist, Won 3 Pulitzer Prizes
As I see it. . . . . . . .
Money like manure?
Both have a purpose . . . . when used properly they make things grow.
Manure doesn’t smell very good . . . . When it’s used properly it provides a benefit of providing fertilizer. That fertilizer increases the yield of the crops . . . . and as a result the crops grow faster.
Money has very little value when it’s not being used . . . . or invested with a purpose. It just sits there.
Put your money to work for you. Set a little aside . . . . from every paid check into an investment account . . . . and over time the money will grow. As your money grows . . . . the value of your money increase.
Pay yourself first . . . . and watch your money grow.
Why is money like manure . . . . Because when you use it properly it makes thing grow.
