Austin Multiple Listings as 02/08/2016 there is 5,843 active listings.

Weekly review from January 31, 2016 to February 6, 2016 show new listings were up 1.13% from one year ago, were pending listings were down by 6.17% and sold were down by 10.32%.

Average Sold price for 2015 was $301,642 solds in 2016 was $344,850 making a 14.32% difference.

Current data for pending listing showing 3,817 currently pending an average price of $335,706 showing a 7.49% increase in the number of pendings with an average 2.75% increase in the average pending list price.

During the same week in review for 2015 there were 3,551 pending with an average list price of $326,719.

Yes Austin is a happening city Sheila and Larry, I recently read an article that Austin was ranked number one for raising children, however the report was out of 200 cities chose and the magazine wasn't one I'm familiar with. Sound right?
