We Have Furry Guests :)

If you think that all we do is eat, breathe and dream real estate, you'd be off the mark! No doubt real estate DOES indeed take up a lot of our waking hours (but I can't think of any real estate dreams!), we do more than just that.

Right now we have two new house guests, say hello to Rocky & Coco from Sweet Dream House rescue organization. They're "mostly" Chihuahua and recently rescued from a hoarding situation. They're pretty friendly, although still a little bit timid!

This is Coco, a sweet little girl that will lick you as soon as you start petting her!

And this is Rocky! He's still a little shy, but he's quickly coming around!

They'll be up on Petfinder.com in the near future and looking for a furever home. And don't worry, neither will be making any puppies in the future as they've already been "fixed".

And just so you don't think we discriminate against felines, we have two pregnant cats temporarily fostering with us, but they insisted on NO PICTURES because, well, they're cats and they said they just don't feel photogenic in their current state!! They'll be guesting with us until the kittens are old enough to be put up for adoption!

And as for our regulars, they're used to seeing guests come and go, although for some I think they prefer the GO part :)

Lise, The pair is getting to know us and get used to the routine.

Debbie, Some of our permanent residents come up to the crate to say hello. The guests aren't quite ready to be turned loose in the house.

Bob, We're going to stick to the small dogs here. We already have two Chis to go with our cats.

Fred, Some of our rescue cats seem to like them, others apathetic, but that's cats, right?
Kathleen, You had your priorities in the right place for that fight.

Jane, They seem happy, and fortunately the weather has warmed up so their outside time is mild.

Ellen, I'm mostly along for the ride as helping hands. Liz started working a lot with Trap/Neuter/Release cat organizations and also with pet therapy. One of our Chihuahuas is certified and visits hospice/senior center/VA Hospital/school programs and she's working on getting a cat or two certified. A lot of volunteer hours involved on her part.

Myrl, They'll be good pets for someone soon.

Roger, We've generally seen that our fostered pets do appreciate what they have. And every now and then a "temporary" stay has become permanent. Not anticipating that in this case.

Jon, Every now and then we steer off the beaten track to let people know that we're more than just real estate. And no doubt, some of our cats don't mind their photos taken at all!
