Yesterday morning driving to church there was a man dressed like all the photos of Jesus I've ever seen depicted and was walking down the side of the highway carrying a huge wooden cross. Here's the news story and a couple of photos of him. I was really touched and my mind just kept going back to thinking of him shining a light on the reason we celebrate Easter.
My church, First Baptist in Eatonton, has Holy Week services at lunch this week. Every day a minister from a different church. I had to make Egg Salad sandwiches for lunch after the service. Do you know how many eggs it takes to make 20 Egg Salad sandwiches. Almost three dozen. Did you know you can't find a loaf of wheat bread with more than 18 slices?
Now I've got to get back to work because in just 15 more minutes I'll have my next appointment. I've been totally swamped lately and very very busy, but I am not complaining about either. The rest of my week is something like this...
- showing appointment today at 4
- repair quote appointment for new listing tomorrow morning
- walk through at 5 tomorrow
- EM check for a closing tomorrow for an agent in my office
- closing on Friday afternoon at 1
- showing appointment friday afternoon at 4
I think I'll get my fitbit steps in every day this week. I tried a lower calorie, made with cane sugar, coke. Not sure if I like it or if I don't. I think it might leave that diet soda after taste that is why I don't do diet cokes. And while I don't drink coke every day, it's one of those things I'm just going to have once in while.
Now off to show property!
