The seller was so happy to be closing on this home. She had found a good buy last year and moved on. This house looked good but the market has been challenging for older homes like this one, even ones that are good values and in great condition. The inspection went well though the appraisal took 4 weeks to come back. This caused us to have a contract extension.

Buyers like all brick homes with lots of space and hardwood flooring. The kitchen has a big work island tons of cabinets, a double pantry and large dining area. There is also a separate den area. This will be a home that will suit the needs of the buyer.

Although I never worked as one, I was a licensed appraiser for many years, and for the life of me I can't figure out how it could possibly take four weeks unless your market is so hot they're flying off the shelves.
