Welcome to the ongoing weekly series called Tuesday Travelogue. We are in our 89th week! Each week, some ActiveRain bloggers are spotlighted to take us somewhere we may not have been on some kind of virtual travel (and it doesn't cost a dime!). Here is the purpose:
to enjoy the ride"
"take a trip without even leaving the farm"
"expand your horizons"
"see through someone else's eyes"
and hopefully much more!
The water at Fishhawk Lake is drawing me in with its blue hues and calming effect and so today, we take to the water!
This is truly one of the most perfect water/lake pictures I've ever seen. This is Lake Norman, named top 5 lakes in the US and I wanna go there! Who's with me?? Charlotte, NC presented by The Temple Team.
How about a lake around Christmas? A completely different viewpoint, but equally as beautiful. Christmas Tree cutting in Red Feather Lakes, CO (I do SO love that name.) Another captured beauty! Mary Douglas explains.
This looked inviting. Best lakes in Waterford Michigan. Never heard of it, and there are 34 of them--who knew? People who've grown up on Michigan lakes are frequently interested in Fishhawk Lake. It looks like I want to get on the water and check it out! Russ Ravary gives us the scoop.
The scenic lakes of!Hopkinton - Massachusetts! Yet another place I've never heard of! Claudette Millette shares some tips and their names are quite lovely. (This one is Echo Lake, perfectly named and the picture certainly supports that).
Tammy Lankford and I have exchanged stories about our beloved lakes and hers, Lake Sinclair, GA has some good reasons why people want to move there. I'll let her tell you!
This day at Fishhawk Lake is what spurned me on to my Tuesday Travelogue tryst as if they were beckoning me to walk out onto the dock and take one for a spin....hope you enjoyed your water rush!
Please don't forget to comment on these blog posts and I hope that you enjoyed all of these virtual travels.
