Thomasville Landmarks Kentucky Derby Fundraiser 2016
You don't have to travel to Louisville for some derby fun this year. That's because the Glen Arven Country Club will be hosting the Thomasville Landmarks Kentucky Derby Fundraiser 2016. Guests will enjoy live music, a mouth-watering dinner menu, cocktails, dancing, several raffles and much, much more.
Attention ladies! The derby is well known for the fantastical hats that the ladies wear. You can be one of those ladies at the Thomasville Landmarks Kentucky Derby Fundraiser 2016. Sign up for the hat contest and you just might win a prize!
Of course, a Derby-style fundraiser wouldn't be complete without watching the most exciting two minutes in sports. Post time is at 6:30pm. The Kentucky Derby will be streamed live around the venue. Sip on a mint julep while cheering on your favorite horses to the finish line.
Tickets for the Thomasville Landmarks Kentucky Derby Fundraiser 2016 are $125 each. Proceeds from the event will benefit the many community programs that Landmarks sponsors throughout the year. These programs include: Landmarks Operation CARE (repair and rehab of historic Thomasville homes), the Diane Williams Parker Revolving Fund (acquires endangered historic buildings to protect from demolition) and Landmarks Education and Outreach program.
