El Tapatio - A Great Place for Mexican Food in Greater Sacramento

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the Greater Sacramento region, is El Tapatio.  I celebrated Mother's Day while having brunch with several family members there on Sunday.

The Enchiladas and Chile Rellenos were excellent.  Ditto for the Chili Verde and Chili Colorado. But it was the serving dish piled high with bacon that grabbed my attention.  I consumed more bacon during that single meal than I've had in the previous year.  The Corn Cake, topped with strawberries, was delicious.  El Tapatio provided all mothers with a long-stemmed Rose, and there were unlimited Mimosas to drink,

For those living in the Greater Sacramento region, El Tapatio has wonderful and authentic Mexican food, coupled with a great restaurant ambiance. They are located at 5637 Sunrise Boulevard, Citrus Heights, CA 95610

Jack Mossman - The Nines Team at Keller Williams in Stockton - I had no breakfast before we had our 11:00 am brunch.  I was starving!  After the feast, I came home and took a two hour nap.  I ate nothing more for the rest of the day except for an orange, and lots of water!

Myrl Mexican food is among my favorites and this sounds like an excellent restaurant for it.  But me and the musical food do not always get along :)

This mexican girl loves authentic mexican food! There is no shortage of great mexican restuarants here in my area! The really good ones are tucked away little hole-in-the-wall type places that don't look very fancy on the outside or inside.

I am a big fan of Mexican food and love to try the new items on the menu. Last week I had the most marvelous shrimp and avocado tacos at a Mexican restaurant. Simple delicious.

 SInce my dad has had dialysis we have had to restrict our Mexican Food intake and I miss it!
