Opo squash made its debut at the Asian vegetable table.  It is a type of Calabash squash. It has a mild flavor and is a bit sweeter than zucchini, according to the farmer.

We love the color of these red sweet onions, and they are delicious grilled.

This zucchini varietal caught our attention.  They are beautiful and great grilled too.

Wishing you lots of Saturday Smiles

Once again, Ron and Alexandra, your Farmer's Market did not disappoint.  I've not heard of the Opo Squash, so I'll check to see if there might be some in our area. Have a great weekend.

Hi Ron and Alexandra Seigel , Those are some awesome colors.  I've had hot purple nions, but never sweet ones.

I love summer squash of all varieties.  Will have to see if I can find that first one you featured locally.

That opo squash looks like a cross between a grape and an eggplant!  Never seen one before.
