Happy Birthday Frank Lloyd Wright

Today is Frank Lloyd Wright's birthday, he passed away in 1959. On Sunday when we went for a long walk we passed a home he designed and took a look at it. This was the Emil Bach.  The Emil Bach House is a Prairie style house in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, United States that was designed by famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The house was built in 1915 for an admirer of Wright's work, Emil Bach. It is located at 7415 N. Sheridan Rd Chicago IL 60206 which is in the Rogers Park area.

Now the Emil Bach house is available to rent as a B & B. and is in beautiful shape.

Noah, I do like the Frank Lloyd Wright home I have seen in Chicago many years ago and I believe it was in River Forest. He was a legend as an architect.

I"ve never toured any of Wright's home but like his style quite a bit. There seem to be Wright homes all over the place!

Happy Birthday Frank!! One of America's favorite and most well known architects.  I have toured Falling Water, southeast of Pittsburgh several times.  Buffalo has two properties built by him. (can't remember the names.)

Hi Noah --- I've been to Oak Park to tour the Frank Wright home and studio twice --- such great architecture that combines so many different elements.   Interesting to see this home offered as a B&B --- that might make for an interesting place to stay.
