Over 80% of new Realtors today, will never renew their license in 4 years (CA) and almost 75% of them quit in year one (per NAR & Trulia). Why?  Most never owned a business, this is a business, not a job. Very few came from a direct sales background, this is a direct sales industry and there's no APP for that.

It's 2016 and a digital world, but you better have people skills and use them, real estate is a contact sport not easily won behind a computer or smart phone. Social skills & care, there's no APP for that.

The public loves it's Realtor-free access to Zillow, despite it's inaccurate stats & info and it's #1 purpose being to capture the public's info and sell it to Realtors & lenders. Accurate home values and building real relationships, there's no APP for that.

Many HGTV viewers watch a couple shows and suddenly are experts and challenging our years of experience in the trenches. They will own statistically, 1-7 homes in their life vs. we who sell that 1-7 properties per month (or more); experience, competence & character, there's no APP for that.

Good listing agents perform over 180 individual tasks & jobs from start to close, documented to get a home sold. (Oh an trust me, they are working on a APP for that!) But that assumes a perfect world scenario, free of issues and surprises. Solving problems and keeping you out of court, there's no APP for that.

Many of us  survived the worst real estate market and recession in our lifetime 2006-2011, the 2nd worst in history and we're still in business and better for it, because of our skills & ability to adapt and overcome-the never quit, (even when that great depreciation-tunnel was very, very, dark). Tenacity, creativity and bravery in the face of uncertainty ; there's no APP for that.

Emotional Intelligence over knee jerk reactions and somehow keeping the "it's the principle of the matter"- ranting clients needs, in front of our own, with a cooler head prevail skill set that closes deals despite the conflicts; There's no APP for that.

There's no App for what I do I'm a Realtor, we are sales agents in an ever changing industry that "appears so easy from the outside looking in"; there's no APP to market with our expertise, no APP to negotiate with our skills and there's no APP to hold emotional clients' hands through the average transaction and all it throws at us..AND there's always problems, because it's real estate and it's people.

Did I mention, long after you close escrow, I still stay in touch, with calls, e-mail, notes & pop-bys, items of value and party invitations? Yeah, staying in touch with personalized service, there's no APP for that either!

I'm your Realtor. There's no App for me, there never can be.
