Vegas Bob was on his way to the free concert on the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz that takes place every Friday from around the 1st week of June all the way into the last week of August.
Anyway the traffic was all backed up on hwy 17 headed into Santa Cruz from Silicon Valley so I took some back roads instead of sitting in traffic forever.
Within the redwoods in Felton California area are beautiful homes nestled in between redwood groves. I saw a open house sign at a home that had a very large lot maybe even some acreage, (several of the homes in Felton have acreage surrounded by redwoods).
Anyway I went and look at the home, beautiful home and quite expensive $978,000 dollars worth. Anyway forget a photo of the home ...
As I was walking to my car out of the corner of my eye and there were several deer picking fruit off some trees. As I walked closer to the deer they seemed very tame and low and behold there was a little fawn (Bambie) looking at Vegas Bob.
Lucky I had my iPhone and I snapped this great photo. These deer were so tame I think I could have fed them fruit from my hand ;o)
