Clematis, Kentlands Photowalk, Gaithersburg, Maryland

 

Many of the white picket fences in Kentlands are decorated with clematis vines and flowers. It is interesting to see the variety of colors and shapes.

Kentlands, a neo-traditional planned community within the City of Gaithersburg, Maryland is one of the favorite areas for families relocated to the Metro Area of Washington, DC.

I love Purple Clematis.  I have one in my yard that I'm very fond of.  My daughter has one growing at her home that has the largest deepest purple blossoms I've ever seen.  I'm trying to get starts of it going on my window sill right now.
