Sometimes if you spend money you will make make more money

Sybil, Virginia is a scary place in a lot of ways. Agents and sellers routinely misrepresent property condition and give the excuse that Virginia is a caveat emptor state.  Anyone who buys a FSBO in Virginia without an agent is just crazy. 

I have heard agent say they can not aford to market their listings.  Well, you need to spend money to make money.

If you can not afford to martket your listings give it to someone else who can.

With the state so favorable to the sellers, a smart buyer will definitely have an agent for the guidance and a sharp inspector as well.

Do you ever wonder why some people think that you should be able to go in business without spending any money? 

You can earn more in real estate than in many, many businesses or in many, many occupations that require 4 years of college. And yet... some people think you shouldn't have to pay for education, marketing, etc. 

It really makes no sense.
