It's time again for the fun and competition of the Pumpkin Festival in Prospect CT. The town green will be surrounded by the decorated pumpkins from the school children each looking for a first prize. The imagination used by these kids as they decorate their pumpkins is on display for all to see that weekend.

The hours for the Festival are from 4 to 8 PM on the town green.

The festivities will include a decorated parade, lead this year by a headless horseman.

Also, there will be live music, a maze to walk, and the competitions of the hay bale rolling contests. Teams of 4 view to get their bale across the finish lines as quickly as possible. It is fun to watch the kids with their smaller bales, and the adults with the larger bales.
