I think it was about 10 days ago, that I got a phone call from Yolanda Cordova-Gilbert. She was excited about a little trip she and her husband Robert Bob Gilbert were making to Napa Wine Country, this weekend! She wondered if I could meet up with them! Sure, I said!
Yolanda chose Bistro Don Giovanni for the rendevous! It was a marvelous choice! When I arrived, Yolanda told me that Lottie Kendall and her husband, as well as Curtis Van Carter, were also attending! It turned into a regular full blown ActiveRain Meetup!
I hadn't been to Bistro Don Giovanni before. The atmosphere was quintessential Napa-Sonoma Wine Country. Great food!
It was so much fun to finally meet Yolanda and Bob, as well as Lottie Kendall, and her better half! And, a special surprise to see Curtis, who I had pictured always doing a multitude of Open Houses on weekends!
For those interested, Bistro Don Giovanni is located at 4110 Howard Lane in Napa! It's easy access from highway 29.
