In this season of thanksgiving, I'm so very grateful for the most loyal clients ever! In our profession, where would we be without our loyal clients who support our business with referrals and encouragement? And let's not forget how important their repeat business is to us, as well. I never feel as if I'm working with "clients." I always feel as if I'm working with friends. And that's what friends do... they support us in our personal and professional endeavors.
In writing this, I'm reminded of:
- A long-standing client who has not only purchased numerous homes from me, but who left homemade chicken soup on my porch earlier this year when I was so sick with a flu, I was virtually comatose for three days.
- A client who relocated to Charlotte area and who sent me a "significant" gift certificate to one the best local spas to recuperate from their "use and abuse" of me.
- How I survived the market crash in 2010, generating a six figure income when agents were dropping out of the business every day... because that year 90% of my business came to me as repeat and referral business from past clients. I can't imagine what my year would have been like without loyal clients supporting me.
- A client located half-way round the world in Korea, who was one of the first to email me when Hurricane Matthew was coming up the east coast, to make sure I was okay.
This list could go on and on... but you get the idea. Thank you to my clients for being my clients, for being my friends. I never forget that at the end of the day you have other options as to where to take your business. And I'm grateful you choose me to come back to again and again and for being the most loyal clients ever!
