As of Today, Wreaths Across America are still about 30,000 wreaths short to ensure that a Christmas remembrance wreath is placed at each veteran's gravesite in Arlington National Cemetery and at over 1,100 other military gravesites around the country, at sea and abroad. The organization lays almost 250,000 wreaths at gravesites. You have until December 14th to contribute $15 towards wreaths for our fallen soldiers laid to rest in Arlington Cemetery. Please consider making a contribution to honor those who paid the ultimate price for our freedoms.
For those who haven't heard about this wonderful organization, which began in 1992 with a trailer load of wreaths, decorated by volunteers and laid at the graves of fallen soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery , its mission is to:
REMEMBER the fallen;
HONOR those who serve;
TEACH our children the value of freedom.
