I have a client looking for rentals, and put a bug in his ear about buying. He said his credit a year ago was not that good and he hasn't checked it lately. I don't know much about his past issues, and suggested he contact you to see if there is a possibility of owning.

The client decided, oh what the heck let me at least talk to this mortgage guy and as luck would have it, I can get him a mortgage. There is no issue with income or down payment and now Brenda will be showing him homes to buy instead of rent.

I often tell prospective clients and Realtors to at least let me look to see what is possible and it always seems to shock folks when I say, “I can get you a mortgage”.
