Photowalking in Gaithersburg, Maryland:  Kentlands Flowers

 

Veronica, Oregon blogger Gayle Rich-Boxman featured one of my old blogs in her Tuesday Travelogue for the Travellers in the Rain group on ActiveRain. Gayle is a wonderful photographer and shares her images of Fishhawk Lake with us in many blogs. It is an honor when she gives her attention to my photographs. I decided to use the photographs from that 2012 blog in this new blog.

When spring arrives in your community, take time to walk through your neighborhood and enjoy the beauty of nature.  It is easy to set aside the issues of the moment when you are focusing your attention and your camera on a beautiful flower.

We have a red sky in Maryland this morning and a winter storm warning is posted for tonight and Tuesday. Today is the time for residents to prepare for heavy snow conditions for a couple of days. The cold weather may also impact the cherry blossoms on the area.
