Philadelphia Schools Closed and City Courts Tuesday 3/14/17 Snow Storm

 

There is a snow storm approaching the Philadelphia area .Near blizzard conditions are likely for a few hours in Eastern Pennsylvania and portions of northern New Jersey where snowfall rates of 2 to 4 inches per hour are expected .Schools ,courts and businesses have already announced closings . Food markets are crowded with people making sure they have enough food and water for three days . Everyone should also have enough medication for a week . 

Last week we had temperatures in the mid sixties almost seventy degrees . I guess the groundhog was right . Please stay home tomorrow

Thanks Dick Greenberg  Safe warm lots of food . Office is closed . Stopped and kissed my daughter . Cleo is so happy I am staying home with her .Actually too much food   So glad I can sit in my condo until I am shoveled out

Hannah I'm glad you'll all hunkered down for the storm and have plenty of food! We used to love snow days when we were kids. I'm sure our Mom wasn't too thrilled but we were!!  Enjoy your time at home in peace and quiet.

Hannah everything is closed here in CT for tomorrow.  All schools and just about every business has already announced closings.  We are suppose to get 12"-18"

We are experiencing big winds in Westchester County and it is incredible that we will be getting more than 2 feet of this by the end of the day! But I have your recipe for corned beef and cabbage in the slow cooker so we have a great dinner to look forward to Hannah!

Hi Hannah, we had a foot of snow here but cooked my corned beef in a slo cooker and George and I had a delicious dinner-no rye bread by slaw and all the veggies in the crock pot, including green cabbage!
