March 2017 video market update on Luxury Home Sales in Charlotte, North Carolina

Charlotte region's luxury home market during February 2017 compared with the same period one year ago as follows:
- The number of sales of luxury homes decreased 2% year-over-year.

Days on market were up 19% on a year-over-year basis to 118 days.

Median list price for luxury homes was $999.900 million with a median sale price of $965,000.
- The number of active listings was up 6% versus one year ago.
- 20 homes priced between $1 and $2 million sold during the month of February 2017 and no homes priced over $2 million sold in February 2017 in the Charlotte region. This compares with the number homes sold in February 2016, when 17 homes priced between $1 and $2 million sold and 2 homes priced over $2 million sold. The most expensive home sold during February 2017 sold at $1,640,000 in the Myers Park area of south Charlotte.
