Stocks Sputter After Drama Filled Week

Futures traders showed very little this morning as S & P futures opened just about exactly flat.  After last week's excitement with the Syrian missile strikes and the Russian denunciation, it seemed like time for a break.  At the same time President Trump was having some pretty serious, though convivial, conversations with China's leader Xi.  In the coming weeks we should have big news on both marijuana and gold which should move markets.  The Dow managed just a wee 1 point gain today.
