Great tip for all northern gardeners.  Thanks, William Feela

Here is a tip for new and old gardeners.

When planting seeds, they need moisture and warmth.

When watering the new seeds and seedlings, use warm water.

Using cold water will make the plants stop growing.

Warm water encourages the plants to grow tricking them into thinking the weather is warmer than it is.

I have done this for years and it works like a charm.

Good morning, Mary Yonkers good tip.... we haven't had much of an opportunity to water!! It's like monsoon season here.... a day without rain is just enough to allow the soil to drain before the next batch of "warm rain"....

Good MOrning Mary.  Thanks for the re-blog.  I did a test and foud that the warm water gives the plants a weeks head start after a months time.

I use warm water when watering my inside plants. No wonder they grow so well.
