Summer is always right around the corner when you own property in Southwest Florida. And while we’ve seen some amazing hidden beaches in our journey to discover this area, I thought we might take a look at something a little different today. Even though you sometimes want to beat the crowds and have the surf all to yourself, there are other times when you want something a bit different. In fact, you might even want to hit the trendiest and most popular beaches for a day in the sun. When we look at potential homes for you in our area, we can talk more about which is your favorite, but these 5 are sure to please.
Siesta Key Beach
Probably one of the most famous beaches in Southwest Florida, Siesta Key is a place all its own. Not far from Sarasota, this beach is only a handful of miles long. At the same time, it contains all sorts of cute little shops and places to eat. And the shores are completely stunning.
Bradenton Beach
Not far from Siesta Key, however, is Bradenton Beach. This popular spot is popular among locals and visitors, but doesn’t get too crazy in terms of crowds. You’ll also enjoy that you’re nearby to shops and to Anna Maria Island’s offerings as well.
Venice Beach
A bit further down our coast, Venice Beach has a pier worth checking out. Still, the numerous shark teeth waiting to be discovered in the sugar sand is the real draw here. When you visit, you’ll find many tourists and residents soaking in the rays.
Lighthouse Beach
Located on the fabled Sanibel Island, Lighthouse Beach is named after… well, the lighthouse on its shores. While this one doesn’t pack out, you’ll find numerous shell hunters combing the shoreline. This spot also has nearby homes that are some of the most gorgeous properties in our area.
Fort Myers Beach
Home of the ever-fun Key West Express, Fort Myers is one of my favorite spots. You can also catch endless watersports when you visit this one, in addition to enjoyable swimming and sunning. You can also do some fishing, get a bite to eat, or just spend a day relaxing.
Around each of these popular beach spots are homes that are worth a look. I’d be happy to take you on a tour of all the wonderful communities that our area offers. When you want to own a property in Southwest Florida, let’s talk!
