Don't Make Your Real Estate Referrals a BLIND DATE....

By
Real Estate Agent with EXP Realty 414-525-0563 57026-90 Broker

We enjoy the referrals we get from a variety of servicesources and do our best to give each Seller or Buyer  the world class service that we have been entrusted  to deliver.

Tell the agent about the referring person/people....This is the Jones family and Paul and Susan are interested in an area with good schools for the children ages 8  and 11 and are looking for your guidance with a lender to purchase a home with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. They would appreciate "meeting" the lender before they arrive and reliable sites you suggest to search for their new Moving vanhome. Susan has accepted a position as the head of nursing at Cityside Hospital and John will be working as an Engineer with Megamanufacturing. They are hoping that each will not have a commute of more than a half an hour. Their email addresses are: and their cell phones are:   . The best time to reach them is 6 pm to 8 pm CST and weekends any time after 9 am.

Paul and Susan, this is Sally & David Hanson, broker associates with Keller Williams who have decades of experience in real estate and work with transferring buyers and sellers all the time.  They may best be reached at:  414 525 0563.  If they are not in the office, that number will ring introductionthru to their cell phones and they will answer you promptly. David has a background in construction and Sally in marketing and decor and their complimentary abilities are just what we think you will need to make you feel at home in southeastern Wisconsin.

Isn't that better than wondering who should/will call who first...incomplete contact information...ot the "blind date of just a referral form ?  We think so....and it is what we send...and LOVE to receive.

If you or anyone you know is looking to buy or sell in southeastern Wisconsin and is looking for a warm welcome...and hopes to get a warm introduction...call Sally K. & David L. Hanson, we would be honored to be of service.

You're so right - there's a huge difference between giving a blind referral and giving a referral that helps your referral partners deliver excellent service.

Good Evening, Hansons Both!  I love the idea of a warm referral.  I enjoy sharing something personal with those who I refer out. It gives them comfort in knowing that it's not 'just another real estate agent' - it's someone special!

Sally & David, I spend so much time filling in the other person, and even offer them the opportunity to keep me in the loop so if they have concerns or issues I can smooth it over with my clients because of my relationship.... totally agree it should not be a Blind Date, Endre

Sally K. & David L. Hanson really good post!  I received an odd referal last week or so and they didn't give my admin much info but she asked and still not much info was forthcoming. As it turns out it was a no go referral. I always give informtion as to why they're moving there, what I know about them in terms of their personalities and how they can best serve them and what type of home they're interested in.  It really does help tremendously to build a good bond right up front as well as trust.

I love getting referrals and I love giving them, and I want as much information as possible up front, or want to share it, as possible. I certainly will do my own due diligence with a referral so I can find out how to best help them, but I certainly appreciate the referring agent who has done their homework.
