Sedona Weather Update

For September

Sept Weather Forecast Sedona 9/30/17

Technically - The monsoon is over on September 30th. The new way to measure is from June 15th to September 30th. However, monsoon conditions exist when the dew point is over 55º, and currently, the average dewpoint is at 23º. This means, realistically speaking, the monsoon is over. Chances are we will not see any more weather coming from the south.

So scenes like this one will give way to blue skies and puffy white clouds such as shown in the forecast above!

Monsoon conditions

One of the reasons our fall weather brings us visitors from all over is the pleasent weather. Seventies and eighties with a humidity level of 25%.

Hi Jim,

Always cool nights even in the hottest part of the summer. Windows can be opened, we might have 5 days where you keep the windows closed and run the AC. Right now low to high 50ºs at dawn. We had one weird low at 36.9 two days ago.

I lived with 2 seasons in SoCal... summer and almost summer! So, like NC we actually have seasons. I only complain about humidity. I am not a fan at all...LOL!

Over the years, friends, relatives and now clients are not familiar with our weather. Clients constantly ask about it and fortunately my husband has a weather station and the stats to back up the records he has been keeping since 2010.
